Pros

• They’ve really stepped up their game, I’ve been playing for 25 years and I think Squiers and Epiphones are an incredible bang for the buck.
• I'm shocked at how far squire has come
• On the other hand, **NO ONE** fakes a Squier or Epiphone. It's just not worth it in terms of effort and margin profit for swindling people. Thus you always get the original, genuine products with proper QC and stuff if you get those bran...

Cons

• Those old Yamahas were great - probably better for the money than the equivalent Squiers, as you weren't paying for the name.
