Pros

• How have you found yourself in a situation to be recording on an 833 when you're not familiar with peak and RMS metering?

Cons

• I hear it during playback on the 833. ... But when I transfer the recorded files to a computer and listen back, the audio is completely clean with no hiss.

• Have you had a look at the 833? Pros: Lighter & MUCH cheaper Cons: No Dante and less inputs
• If you didn't care about the price, the 833 would be a great machine, except for their enormous battery consumption.
