Pros
- SomniPods support ANC, but I’ve heard that their sleep sounds are looped. I usually stream music and podcasts over Bluetooth, though, so that doesn’t really bother me.
- SomniPods are cheaper and also offer EQ and ANC
- I use the SomniPods, and honestly, they’re a great product if you don’t use Sleep Mode. I usually stream audio over Bluetooth-the noise cancellation is excellent, and the battery life is great too.
- Surprisingly, comfort is where they completely won me over. Once I’m lying down, I barely notice them in my ears, even on my side. The battery easily gets me through the night, and the ANC works well for steady background noise, but hone...
- You could try the A30 and Somnipods, both these headphones feature active noise cancellation
Cons
- The Somnipods do feel really nice. But their sound loops are shit
- Parent context: I'll stick to my SomniPods Reply: Yeah, they’re actually pretty good. The looping sounds aren’t great, though, so I only use them in Bluetooth mode.
- I like my Somnipods. Im still figuring out how to not have them make my ear holes ache but they DO work, the ANC is decent, and the battery life is pretty robust
- I did try the SomniPods and I feel like the device itself is functionally almost identical to the A30 but the somnipods pissed me the fuck off because like 80% of the app is locked behind a subscription service. ... Also the local audio...
- I wouldn't get the Somnipods, you can hear as audio tracks loop in your ear lol

Also the local audio white noise options for the SomniPods are on a super short loop with a full 2 seconds of silence when the loop restarts. For me, that means that feature is completely unusable.

The earbuds are somnipods that my sister gave me cuz she found them uncomfortable. Weirdly, my experience has been completely different. They fit my ears well, and I can sleep in them without constantly noticing them, including when I’m lying on my side. ... My main complaint is the battery life, the battery lasts around 7 hours.
The app definitely needs work, and I understand the complaints about the built-in sounds. I personally wouldn’t pay for the subscription because Bluetooth streaming already gives me everything I need.
