The only problem I had with it was that it wasn't recognizing my Corsair ram unless it was running as an administrator, which started happening after a windows update. It seems to be fixed now, though.
Personally, I use the free tier of signal RGB and see no point in paying, it basically has all the features I need.
The former is easier to use, powerful, lightweight but has premium features that are paid.
I've only briefly used Signal RGB in a previous version of my setup, but I don't remember having any issues with it. It's probably best to look up a couple of general tutorials, but I do remember that there was support for a lot of different RGB devices, even by specific model as well.

Signal RGB has always worked better for me than other RGB softwares. Important detail is "better" in that sentence, I have yet to find one that is flawless and works 100% of the time, but so far it has beat out the motherboard softwares for me.

I've heard signal rgb and openrgb can, but I didn't want to risk bricking my motherboard though so i just disabled the rgb on the motherboard entirely.
Need really use the rgb but hate having to use asus armoury crate. Wont be paying for signalrgb either
