If not, don't bother switching to CachyOS. It's a different approach being a rolling release and in the end it provide the same kernel etc only tweaked to geacht maybe 1% additional performance. In regards to gaming, it just comes with pre-installed stuff you probably don't even need
Gaming performance is on par with other distros, nothing special. I’ve benchmarked lots of them for fun, Cachy comes within the margin of error when compared to fedora, EndeavourOS, Ubuntu and some others. The only niche with Cachy imo is that it comes with some handy tools pre-installed.
If all you do is gaming and do not mind having to troubleshoot from time to time, CachyOS with Snapshot support is good for sure. For work, it can still be Okay but when something breaks you will need to boot into a snatphot
I'd go for something with different bases: e.g. Fedora, Cachy and Mint.
On cachy you'll get like 20 updates every 12 hours and some may require manual intervention (I've been using cachy since April and I haven't had an updated that needed something manual yet, but it can happen).
Full transparency cachyos is my first daily drive distro since May (though I had some linux experience before that). I do think some beginners like me can get started with it but I wouldn't recommend anything arch based to someone with 0 experience.
I have been using the xps16 with cachyos for a few months now. Very smooth, no issues.

I run CachyOs on my xps 16. Nothing so far but have only used for it a couple of hours since I got it.
First thing I did was install CachyOS on it, runs great so far!
