Pros

  • Shure SLXD+. They are priced right and the range is great. I have several units.
  • Shure SLXD+ is my recommendation
  • experienced people with those systems seem pretty happy with what they get for the price
  • It’s wideband digital that performs well above its price point.
  • Shure SLXD series works for me. Excellent sound (better than a comtek) decent range, and the + stuff gives you enough bandwidth option to avoid most camera rf noise makers.

For wireless, now that the SLXD+ went wide band, I think you’re on the right track. I think it’s the best value for entry level systems.

The Shure system will beat the pants off the Theos stuff in all measurable categories except tuning bandwidth

+1 for the shure SLXD product line. Best value by a mile. $750 for a transmitter and receiver. Audio quality and range are top tier.
