AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote
The Shiny Snake G300 is a 16.8L small form factor case frequently discussed for its portability and compatibility with standard components. It is noted for supporting Micro-ATX motherboards and ATX power supplies without requiring a PCIe riser cable. While users appreciate its integrated handle and thermal performance, there are mixed reports regarding its availability outside of specific regions and its ability to accommodate very large GPUs.
Pros
- Integrated handle makes it highly portable for travel
- Supports Micro-ATX motherboards and ATX power supplies in a compact 16.8L volume
- No riser cable/GPU extender required for the layout
- Can accommodate large air coolers up to 164mm
- Sturdy build quality with resilient paint and minimal flexing
Cons
- May not fit full-sized or exceptionally large GPUs
- Front IO panel cables can obstruct one of the two bottom fan slots
- Regional availability is inconsistent, with high markups reported in some markets
- AIO brackets (240-280mm) and SFX mounting kits are often sold separately
Caveats
- Users have reported minor panel defects on some units
- Metal thickness is noted to be thinner than competitors like the Dan A3
- Bending cables to fit bottom fans may be required due to IO placement
Best for
- Portable Micro-ATX builds
- Users who want a small case but prefer to avoid riser cables
- Air-cooled builds using standard ATX power supplies
Avoid if
- You are using a very large triple-fan GPU
- You require dual bottom-mounted fans without significant cable strain
- The case is only available at extreme regional price markups

My favorites are the Meshroom D and Shiny Snake G300. No GPU extender. Still compact.

Overall, this is a pretty good case and I would definitely get one for my future build even with the minor defects on the panels. Paid around $100 in my country for this case.
