Sennheiser HD599's

Pros
- Get the HD599
- If you can get it on sale the HD599 SE is a very good option
- Keep an eye out if there might be a special offer on the Sennheiser HD599 SE for under $100 on the upcoming Prima Day. These would probably be the better headphones for you.
- Grabbing a set of Sennheiser hd 599 or 560s will do the job!
- Sennheiser HD599 or HD560S are popular options but a bit over your price range
Cons
- As for the headphones I find HD599 a bit too bloated in upper bass.
- not as warm as my Sennheiser HD599's
- Missed my hd599s ever since my tastes changed back to more midrange focus with elevated treble. ... they're definitely significantly less dark than my hd599s who even back when I was younger had this really thick almost cloudy midrange.
- Hd599 is good but I returned mine after testing the hd560s. I think it’s a good deal, just a bit too warm for my liking.
- Depends on the taste, but I'd never buy HD599 over HD560S. Too bloated.

Parent context: That's actually one I might be able to try (the store focuses mainly on Sennheiser). I suppose it doesn't really block out any sound? Reply: No it wont, it's an open design wired headphone, no features besides great comfort and a pleasant sound no mic, no anc, no bluetooth
Im mostly using my wired Sennheiser HD599SE but those are open backs with zero noise cancellation since for gaming i find these extremely comfortable
