Sennheiser G4s are UHF, not 2.4GHz (I presume that’s what you meant). The G4 is just the radio transmitters/receivers, you can use any Sennheiser-wired lav mic with them.
The G4 is on the lower end of useable wireless systems quality-wise. More professional systems sound a lot better.
I had a G4 tx ready to try on the problematic channel and it worked just fine on the same freq using the EVO compander!
