SATA Drive

Pros

• It depends on the pricing, but more likely than not, I might go for a SATA? Since that's a cheaper option, right? But if the stars align, then maybe an NVMe?
• Even a SATA drive would make that system fly.
• At least that's fast enough to work.
• SATA is fine.
• I have seen far more SATA drive deals that are at least reasonable.

Cons

• flights in between the islands are expensive (especially for the distance) because SATA holds the monopoly over Azores flights.
• sata drive is usually way slower and can be even slower if in the wrong socket...
• Don't go with the SATA drive for your OS, it's an unnecessary slowdown for the PC.
• Ideally you want the OS's on NVME, since it's the faster drive. Your existing 2 tb nvme should have plenty of room for two OS's.
• If you can afford it, you should get a new m.2 NVME SSD instead, they're much faster than SATA drives. It would also be easier than backing up everything.
