Pros

  • The only soaps I’ve ever used that beats the Otter are the high-end Italian factory ones—specifically SV and Panna Crema
  • SV really provides what's promising. It's super close to Armanis Aqua di Gio.
  • If I had to picture the perfect shaving soap, it would have the body of MdC and the soul of SV.
  • SV wasy first bike and I sold it 8 months later for an MT 09, but I don't regret starting on the SV. Perfect learning bike.
  • SV is still, after all this time, probably the best choice for a first bike. Enough power to do anything you want, but forgiving in many ways.

Cons

  • Parent context: After using a whole tub of 80th Anniversary, I found that SV lather is not as dense and creamy as say Stirling or Speick. It is more fluffy rather than low structure, which makes it dry on skin much faster, hence requirin...
  • The sim'd footage looks exactly like they took the battle system from SV.
  • SV 70th edition is a balm that doesn’t give me the sting I crave.

Parent context: After using a whole tub of 80th Anniversary, I found that SV lather is not as dense and creamy as say Stirling or Speick. It is more fluffy rather than low structure, which makes it dry on skin much faster, hence requiring a much longer loading time or even a trip back to the tub. SV was honestly one of the disappointing soaps I’ve used. Love the scent and balm though.

As for soap, SV is chemical free which really helps to avoid breakouts
