Pros

• God damm both are solid choice but I will choose q990h.more features comes.
• I tried the Q-990H and 1000MK2 in store and found the Q-990H to feel more immersive when watching a movie clip. The 1000MK2 had a stronger thump effect, but the clarity was better with Samsung.
• I bought the samsung Q990H which I like, but when it's time for a new system I'm totally going to spend the extra money and buy the dragon.
• The 990H is obviously a better option along with more power, more drivers and a better sub. I always recommend the 990 if it’s in the budget.

• On the Q990H the Ai adaptive mode + spacefit causes crackling from the subwoofer.

• it just kind of sounds "fine". Spatial effects are okay, vocals are mostly clear, bass is there but doesn't shake the room, and treble sounds more like what you would expect from full range drivers rather than dedicated high quality twee...
• Samsung released a firmware update for your soundbar that crashes all their soundbars that update. ... it will download to soundbar and that will thrn create all kinds of freeze ups, and sound issues on your bar. It's hit a ton of users...
• Samsung's customer service deceived me by claiming that the latency when wirelessly connecting the Micro RGB R95H, the HW-Q990H, and two Music Studio 7 units via Q-Symphony was very fast—about 90% as fast as HDMI eARC when using a PS5.
