S5ii

Pros

• As a g9ii owner. The gh6, gh7, g9ii, s5, s5ii, s5iix, sr1ii, and off shoots of that model. Are all able to record to a SSD through usb-c.
• I’ve been using the S5ii since launch and love it
• I film with an S5ii and a 24-70mm f/2.8.
• The S5II is actually a great offer. Especially if you can get the Allround set (20-60mm + 50mm prime). Unlike its predecessor, the Mk.2 has gained PDAF.
• The s5ii is great. It may have marginally slower af than Sony and canon, but especially for video it's perfect

Cons

• i have a s5ii and i definitely am always aware that it’s with me. ... it is a heavier camera, with a strap it’s fine but you’ll always have that feeling that you’re carrying a camera with you
• I'm planning on using my GH4 with an external shotgun mic (leaving my S5ii at home) since things could get hairy and equipment might get broken or confiscated and so forth.
• Biggest issues: - L mount selection is significantly worse than E mount - Autofocus straight-up isn't as good as sony (I had a zve10 for a month before the s5ii). But it's comparing "pretty darn reliable" vs "almos...
• I have an S5ii, but I’m thinking of downsizing to the a7cii. I think I’d prefer having portability and greater selection of lenses. If you’re mainly taking pictures I’d say go for the a7cii but if you’re planning on focussing on videos t...
