Pros

• You can also find Rog strix and legions in that price range but they ain’t as portable. They have better cooling tho.
• Nearly a decade of service and it's still alive! Only replaced the SSD once about 5 years in. It's finally started slowing down again, so instead of spending money on fresh parts I finally upgraded with a Legion 5i with a 5060. Wow what...
• The ROG Strix can be upgraded to at least 64gb RAM, and has 2 slots for SSD
• I’ve been considering the Rog strix for a few days and now that it’s an extra 100 off I’m going for it
• Get a decent B850 board like ROG Strix or a Solid MSI MPG board.

Cons

• Hey man I had this exact same symptoms on my rog strix (games suddenly slow, even old ones, overheating etc.)
• The rog is newer. Personally my only concern with the rog is liquid metal. I’ve seen a lot of issues about it.
• I myself have used a ROG Strix, and the plastic build quality won’t last you long.
• If u want Asus counterpart, it's ROG Strix, not Zephyrus.
• For 4090, ROG Strix seems to perform well at a good price. Not the best finish though.
