the Rework Toshi 5L Sling has been the best small bag I've ever carried! I'm hoping they add some new colors and fabrics and a grab handle this fall as well. It feels more like 3.5-4L but can also expand to fit the full 5L, if you try! It lays flat according to what's loaded inside, which is nice.
The optional smooth strap for the Toshi sling is definitely an improvement over the default strap and made for an easy transition from the Bellroy lite sling I previously used.
