Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • Kicking horse and Revelstoke are 2 of the most incredible resorts in Canada. Endless big mountain terrain, and after a good storm there’s nothing better.
  • Kicking Horse and Revelstoke seem to be doing much better as well.
  • Revelstoke has gotten nearly 500cm already and it's not even Christmas.
  • If only 2 then it’d depend what you like to ski: steeps and bowls? Revy and KH.
  • Rev and kicking horse definitely have more gnarly terrain where conditions play a big role in accessibility and availability.

Cons

  • Parent context: Revelstoke has more snow than I can physically imagine even after seeing videos from patrollers. 8 feet + of base and it sounds like minimum 1ft of powder daily Reply: I was in Revy last week, it's good for early season b...
  • Parent context: Wtf I was thinking of doing a trip to Rev this year to get away from the shit show America has become . Guess im gonna pass on that. Reply: Yeah you shouldn't go it's really overrun
  • Goldon and Revelstoke were both bone dry in the valleys.
  • Looks like Mt Bachelor/Banff/Revelstoke are receiving a bit of snow over the next week - fingers crossed the carries on 😭

They have 80 inches of depth. That's good but happens pretty much every year for any ski area that averages 400"+ annually.
