Many people do Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in one trip.
As much as I kind of agree, for most people that aren't super budget backpackers, Cambodia doesn't offer anything other than Angkor Wat that isn't offered better by Thailand or Vietnam. And arguably Laos is more fun for backpackers than Cambodia
Cambodia is super underrated as well. Ankor Wat is absolutely worth the trip, and Phnom Penh is a really fun city.

Not a big fan of Cambodia, it is one of the dirtiest places ive ever been. Food wise as well. Cool to visit but couldn't imagine staying longer than a week.
Cambodia seems like what you're after. It's got literally hundreds of ancient ruins, the most famous being the Angkor Wat area. It also has interesting cities, like Kampot, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh .
Many people can do Cambodia and Thailand in one trip since they are next to each other (and they only go to Angor Wat anyways).
My husband and I went to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia last December and it was a wonderful trip. Prices were quite reasonable, the food is great, the temperature is pleasant and there are many fascinating things to see. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend going to Asia.
