Pros
- RE2 remake - A good balance between REmake and RE4. It works very well and almost hit the highs of REmake's survival horror in terms of exploration and item management

- Love the presentation so far. The vibes are spooky. Gameplay seems great. I’m very much looking forward to more.
- I don't think the remake makes quite as good use of darkness as RE2R or Village, but both are very solid in their own ways.
- I have it tied with the Resident Evil 2 Remake as the peak of modern survival horror
Cons
- I'm not sure how keen I am on the practically identical campaign across both characters besides a few location differences and final boss battle. Thankfully the completely different weapon pools kept the game interesting with the grenade...
- I am glad we got RE2make in the end, but the nixxing of the A/B scenarios is such a shame.

Capcom’s mastery over pacing and encounter design is nowhere to be seen. ... if Silent Hill 2 had strong combat pacing like RE, with a drip-feed of ammo and health keeping you on your toes from room to room, I think these expansions to locations would make sense.
I am currently on my first playthrough of Resident Evil 2 Remake, and WOW what a phenomenal game.
If you want to keep some more action 2 Remake would be a good place to go next as it’s a good mix of both
I am glad we got RE2make in the end, but the nixxing of the A/B scenarios is such a shame.
