RE2 remake - A good balance between REmake and RE4. It works very well and almost hit the highs of REmake's survival horror in terms of exploration and item management

I'm not sure how keen I am on the practically identical campaign across both characters besides a few location differences and final boss battle. Thankfully the completely different weapon pools kept the game interesting with the grenade launcher and MQ11 being fun to use from start to finish.

Love the presentation so far. The vibes are spooky. Gameplay seems great. I’m very much looking forward to more.

I don't think the remake makes quite as good use of darkness as RE2R or Village, but both are very solid in their own ways.

At least we got some indie games still keeping the fixed cam horror genre alive, there are some very nice ones last 4-5 years. Tormented Souls, Crow Country, Signalis, Heartworm, etc.

Signalis scratched the void in my heart that Silent Hill 2 left. I love how, similar to Silent Hill, Signalis understands the value of silence and how sometimes less is more in creating atmosphere and tension.

Played it a year ago and its a criminally under-the-radar game. More people should defo experience the game.

I loved this game. I dont know why that's in past tense, maybe because I likely wont play through it again, despite the run-time. Near everything is so immaculately intentional and that clears comes through to you as the player. I loved the "mystery", I love the heartfelt moments, I enjoyed the PS1 aesthetic, I adored the sound design.

Parent context: Signalis is dope. The PS1 art style made me feel like a kid again. Reply: Yeah the exploration and finding your way around annoyed me but the atmosphere was peak.
