Pros

  • [Prime95 ](https://prime95.net/download/)will make quick work of the perceived stability you may have by having ably finished a few runs of Cinebench [R23](https://archive.org/download/cinebench_201907/CINEBENCH%20R23.zip).
  • Would suggest running prime95 to stress test the CPU and RAM and then the likes of Furmark for the GPU, if they pass with flying colors then must be something with the game itself or something specific with your software and the game.
  • Furmark, Prime95, OCCT, Cinebench
  • Running something like OCCT or Prime95 for at least an hour, will show you if any errors exist, and will show you what core/thread is kicking out the errors.
  • Easy way to heat it would be with Prime95, freeware that searches for prime numbers. Makes your CPU go to 100% on every core and generate as much heat as possible. Great for testing overclocks for stability, loosening up coolers, and war...

Cons

  • Sure, obviously CineBench for benchmarking but why bother with stuff like Prime95, OCCT, AIDA64, FurMark Extreme, or MemTest86 - effectively spending countless hours - while Cinebench can easily be used to identify defective and/or impro...

Easy way to heat it would be with Prime95, freeware that searches for prime numbers. Makes your CPU go to 100% on every core and generate as much heat as possible. Great for testing overclocks for stability, loosening up coolers, and warming a one room cabin during those cold winter months.

if you just want to know if the system will thermal throttle under load you can run prime95 small FFTs on the CPU and 3dmark or any GPU heavy game on the GPU for an hour.
