A part of me wanted to put it down here below the others because it simply is, in my opinion, a game with less meat on its bones than all the others. ... You're missing the obvious Pax Pamir 2nd edition considering you like a good theme, good art and don't mind some heavier euros.
When you play games like Root, Oath, Arcs, John Company, or Pax Pamir, you notice that playing these games 2 or 3 times is not even enough for you to understand how much ground they cover.
While I haven't been able to get certain non-gamers into pax pamir or John company, I have been able to get those same people to play molly house.
Pax Pamir is the only Wehrle game I like and it is not asymmetric.
