NZXT H3 Flow
Reddit take
AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote
The NZXT H3 Flow is a compact MicroATX case favored for its minimalist aesthetic and ease of assembly. While it is praised for its small footprint and airflow potential, it is frequently criticized for shipping with only a single, low-quality fan, necessitating an immediate upgrade for most builders.
Pros
- Minimalist and elegant aesthetic design that fits well in living room or HTPC setups.
- User-friendly interior that is reported to be very easy and quick to build in.
- Compact height compared to many competitors while still fitting large PSUs like the RM1000x.
- Good airflow potential when equipped with additional intake fans.
Cons
- Ships with only one 120mm fan, which users describe as poor quality.
- Top fan mounting is restricted to slim (15mm) fans; standard 25mm fans will not fit.
- Incompatible with 360mm AIO liquid coolers.
- GPU clearance is more limited than in larger mid-tower alternatives.
Caveats
- Builders should budget for at least two additional 140mm front intake fans to achieve proper cooling.
- The power supply is mounted in a face-up orientation, which may be a concern for some configurations.
- Availability may be limited to tempered glass versions in certain regions, making mesh-only builds difficult.
Best for
- MicroATX builds where desk space is at a premium.
- Minimalist setups and living room HTPCs.
- Builders who prefer a clean look and don't mind purchasing their own fans.
Avoid if
- You intend to use a 360mm AIO radiator.
- You want a case that includes a complete, high-quality cooling solution out of the box.
- You require standard 25mm thick fans for top exhaust.

Out of these, I'd say the h3 flow is probably a good pick. You can pick up cheaper fan packs from the likes of arctic.
CASE: NZXT H3 Flow
Case: NZXT H3 Flow (new)
What was your experience with the NZXT H3? Any issue with the face-up power supply? Were you able to mount a 240mm radiator in the front and did you have any pump placement issues? Also has anyone top mounted a 58mm thick radiator with 46.1mm RAM clearance? ( I can’t seem to find RAM clearance for the H3).
The case is a nice black NZXT with a clear side panel.
Case: Switched to a much less expansive case that will still allow for good airflow. Added two 140mm PWM fans for intake on the front panel that, with the included 120mm PWM fan (at the rear as exhaust), will provide as good if not better airflow.
Could always look at a similar mATX case https://pcpartpicker.com/product/qxbypg/nzxt-h3-flow-microatx-mid-tower-case-cc-h31fw-01
Montech AIR 100 ARGB or NZXT H3 Flow will be my suggestion.
A nice looking alternative would be the NZXT H3 Flow, but this case also only comes with a single fan, and a kind of shit fan at that. Meaning I'd recommend buying 3 to replace it.
NZXT H2 Flow and H3 Flow - Neither of these can handle a 360 AIO which is the major knock against them for what you have. The H3 Flow is a traditional tower layout, but is reasonably compact.
