Fast vsync breaks gsync. it needs to be set to on only
gsync will not work correctly if set to fast. it needs to be "on" only in nvidia control panel. off in game.
ON stops at the monitors hz and works with Gsync, stops screen tearing. I believe Fast will continue past that and would be more for competitive gaming and u would want Gsync Off, something like that. I only use Vsync ON in NCP for all games I play and Off in the in-game settings, also paired with Low Latency (reflex) to ON and Gsync ON and also cap my fps (138 for 144hz) for games that don't support Reflex. No screen tearing and everything is smooth, lol unless there's a driver issue from a new driver and then I rollback.
