Nikka Whisky

I think Nikka might be my favorite Distillery from all the Japanese whiskey I've had

After tasting so many from Nikka, I think it may be my favorite whisky brand, even moreso than Suntory.

The Nikka whiskies tend to be cheaper at each Entry/Mid/Premium tier. They tend to have a more rustic style, with more unique personality than Suntory.

This is just personal preference, but I feel like the Nikka or Masahiro are the only good choices.

Collection includes Karuizawa, Ichiro's Malt (Hanyu and Chichibu), Yamazaki limited editions, rare old Nikka & Suntory bottles, Mars single casks and many other Japanese distillery single cask releases never sold in the US.

I love both of the Nikka that were mentioned but I would get a pour of them somewhere if your not familiar with single malt before buying a bottle.

Generally you should be looking for bottles from Nikka. Nikka from the barrel, Taketsuru, Miyagikyo, and Yoichi are all top choices that can be had for under $100 depending on where you are.

Nikka is great whiskey, they make some of my personal favorites, but it's also widely available in the US.

Nikka is cheaper for sure, and I usually grab a few bottles.
