The gate agent didn’t even seat us together, but luckily we caught that and had the gate agent fix it. There were a lot of mad people with no premium seats.

On the return flight, they once again changed the aircraft, and this time they piled us onto a bus at MXP where we remained for about an hour until this weird plane was ready. It was some sort of British plane that carried troops. They had crammed 5 seats into the first row where there should have been 3, so my husband’s seat was literally in the aisle. He had to put his tray down and lean over every time the service cart went by. For 9 hours.
