Pros

• Funny, I like the smell! It smells vaguely citrusy to me.
• I can confirm neem oil helps against scale. I had on a lemon tree and on myrtle and it worked well. My only issue was that it smells bad, so I had to bring the plants outside to spray them and the temperature shock wasn't good for them.
• Parent context: How do you keep the leaves so shiny??? They look amazing! Reply: Honestly I don’t really know… once every handful of months I wipe them down with some light spraying of diluted neem oil and water/micro fiber 🤷🏼‍♂️
• I could also give it a hard shower and spray with neem oil, right?
• I've been spraying neem oil and soap as my go to pesticide and i only do it when there is a huge pest problem

Cons

• Neem oil doesn’t do anything IME.
• Things I’ve been doing: - Neem oil treatment
• It also has tendency to clog pores plants use to breathe so when used excessively neem oil can have adverse effects as well.
• I personally think Neem is one of the most overrated and low key scammy products out there. It works ok, at best, and at worst actually harms plus is freaking reeks as you said.
• Why doesn't anyone WARN you about how much this stuff REEKS??? I started spraying everything and I was just like oh NO.
