  • That being said, the Tomahawk is a good board if you're stuck on X870 - I'd run the 850 class myself, the X870 doesn't add much for most people.
  • But if you do upgrade I would go 14600K and mid to high end B760 DDR4 Motherboard with 12+1+1 phase and VRM heatsink. Something like MSI PRO B760-P DDR4 board or Tomahawk, TUF and Aorus Elite.
  • if you want to get the most out of your components, i.e., overclock, you'd be better off with one with an x870 chipset, a Tomahawk.
