MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV

Pros

• Gave it a try on mine and its black when watching a SDR black screen on YT while in HDR.
• In case you like VA panels, take a look into MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV.
• Parent context: i'm looking for 1440p 240-300 Hz mini led monitor but i can't find it :( Reply: MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV 27 300hz 1440p miniled!
• 0.5ms GtG (fastest of the bunch — should help with the smearing concern), HDMI 2.1 x2, DP 1.4a, confirmed pivot stand, firmware updatable, established brand. €310
• Mini LED monitor with awesome colors and blacks. It has really minimal smearing other than that, it's the perfect monitor for me personally without breaking the bank for OLED.

Cons

• I am looking at VA mini-leds, like MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV for example. But can't help but think that it would bother more more than IPS glow with its black smearing and VRR flicker.
• Does anyone here own the MSI X30MV? Specifically curious about VRR flicker in dark scenes and loading screens.
• After getting this monitor I noticed that when I opened YouTube and played a black screen on sdr vs hdr I noticed that the hdr looks noticeably gray compared to the sdr image which pretty much looks completely black
• The MSI does have an issue with colors though, no matter what I did it always felt slightly off.
• The MSI is the weakest of the three in HDR performance, but it does still look pretty good when viewing actual HDR content.
