MSI B850

Pros

• I recommend an MSI B850 for entry level or X870 or X870E if you plan on having more than one M.2 SSD and or use all the USB C 4 ports.
• I've had good luck with a B850 from MSI.
• I still think B650 or B850 is better if you can get it
• Currently using an MSI b850 which is running fine after years with an MSI b450 which was issue free. Would recommend
• If so then a 7600X3D combo will save you a TON of money 7600X3D + MSI B850 + 16GB RAM stick = $400.

Cons

• Apart from having PCIe 5.0 slots - the MSI B850 also only supports DDR5 RAM and a Ryzen AM5 [socket](https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B850-GAMING-PLUS-WIFI). So you'll have to replace your ram and cpu too. And that will be costly.
• I've tried testing my build in another motherboard (MSI B850) and the problems persist.
• I have been trying to install Windows 11 on my new SSD (Samsung 990 Pro), upgrading from PNY CS900. Motherboard is MSI B850. I completely unhooked the old SSD.
