Not sure the price difference but I have the montech century ii 1050w(probably overkill) for 120 and it also comes with the actual 12vhpwr cable.( I use a 5070ti, no issues of melting or anything)
You can grab a much higher quality PSU. No need for a 1000w here - 750w or 850w will be fine. I threw a be quiet Power Zone 2 platinum in mine, and I'm quite happy with it.
