Micro Connectors PWM Sleeved Fan Extension Cable

Pros

• I can see four pins on the fan side. I’ve never seen a three wire connector with four pins before—On fan splitters the 3rd pin is missing on all but one fan side connector.
• It’s probably a typo. The picture shows four pins on each end. No one mentions in the comments that it doesn’t have a PWM/tach line.
• The picture looks correct. The description might just be wrong.

Cons

• But what confuses me is that I know PWM=4pin, but it seems like cable has 4-pin male but 3?-pin on female. Can't tell from pics but the description says so. If that's the case, does this mean this cable isn't true PWM then?
• This. It also calls them LP4, but that is the name of the old big 4-pin Molex power connector (Large Peripheral 4).
