Meraki Espresso Machine

Pros
- But maybe a Meraki. It’s pretty complete with grinder and a nice touch screen for 2700-2800 euros. ... it’s quite the nice machine
- You can buy a consumer "mesh" system that can be hardwired (which makes it not "mesh".. thanks marketing), or you can go with something more aimed at commercial (eg Ubiquiti, Meraki).
- Personally, I feel there’s value using 1 brand. At least when it comes to Meraki which is what I use.
- You want top end performance and prosumer customization? Look into meraki or Ubiquity.
- Cisco gave me 3k in free gear when they were pushing meraki.
Cons
- Meraki is getting more expensive for SMB (under 200 users)
- I don’t recall seeing Meraki in a homelab before because licensing is atrocious
- Some people might like Meraki as all in one machine and it looks good but I’m not sure about longevity for the machine because it’s new machine and new company.
- I was so close to backing the Meraki, but was worried about the longevity of components and repairability, too much going on internally makes them annoying to work on.
- Meraki work flow is enticing but worried about the internal components

We very impressive, we actually used the location as a test bed for migrating all of our sites from Meraki to Unifi for network and protect.
Meraki might be simple to use but concern will be… can this company survive??? Because of competition between Chinese companies. We already see similar machine with timemore with their grinder. That looks more attractive than Meraki because of the grinder.
Meraki - Seems to have everything I need on paper, plus it includes a grinder, which would save money

Cisco VARs are increasingly pushing customers toward pricier Meraki/cloud subscriptions and using end-of-life gear as leverage, which makes even basic support more expensive.
