Lipton

Pros

• I have a weakness for Lady Grey and plain black Lipton. Everyone on the tea sub calls is trash but there's just something about it I can't kick.
• Generally, I do half milk half water, bring to a simmer just under boiling, add tea (usually like 2 bags of lipton for 1 person), sugar, any spices/aromatics, and then leave it on medium heat to steep for a while before serving
• I drink Lipton regularly, you know why because I can’t afford to have a nice daily breakfast tea.
• lipton is alright. i know hobby subs stick their noses in the air but it really can be alright sometimes.
• To me, Tetley and Lipton are pleasant enough - but many disagree.

Cons

• I’m in the US and none of the commonly available teas are any good. All taste bitter and flat. (Lipton, Red Diamond, Luzianne)
• Is this actually good tea and I’m just a peasant who’s been poisoned by Lipton my whole life?
• I used to drink Lipton (can’t really stand it now)
• Or even worse, Lipton.
• With my hard bias against lipton (there are better store brands), I imagine it would be even more bitter and lacking in tea flavour as it is fresh lol.
