Pros
- I’ve bought mine in Lidl for like 20 euros.
- Made a couple of trips to Lidl/ other grocery stores, and the rest of this amount is propped up by TooGoodToGo bags.
- $0.24 cents at Lidl here in MD. Can’t be beat.
- I can go to Aldi or Lidl and get everything I need (aside from a few things I get every couple months elsewhere) and be done shopping in 30 minutes with low stress
- Within walking distance from the British Museum you have branches of all the following supermarkets: Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, M&S Food, Lidl and Co-op
Cons
- I was just lamenting to my husband last night about how annoyed I am to have to go to Lidl (it’s always dirty) to get salads like these!
- There’s always LIDL too.
- We used to have a Lidl pretty close to us that we liked- I liked their baked goods and I remember them having good prices that were comparable to Aldi. ... We recently went to the remaining Lidl that’s further away ... I was pretty disap...
- Lidl definitely has a larger selection than Aldi, but this also makes the store larger and take longer to shop (still much smaller than a traditional supermarket). ... Lidl's prices do seem a bit higher than Aldi's although they seem to...

There's no fresh baked bread there. Lidl yes, Aldi no.
I’m team Lidl! It’s just a better shopping experience imo. ... I just get better vibes from lidl. The sales are fire too.
Much cleaner than Aldi and has more variety, but yes a bit pricier and larger.
