- The Lexar drive is going on sale for about ~185$ in my country and doing a quick market research it's the cheapest 2tb nvme out there with most of them being well over 220$, but they're all gen4.
- Gen3, Gen4 or Gen5 hardly matters at all for gaming. I'd put more weight on TLC vs QLC drives, but as a secondary drive that wouldn't bother me much either.
- Any SSD will work just fine, including Sata and Gen3 NVMe. The end result will be the same for gaming.
