Pros

• Krish Flyer for Scoot Airlines acces
• Krisflyer or Vietnam airlines would enntje best bet. Vietnam should cost around 40k points round trip .
• Can I book an award seat for my wife on either krisflyer or aeroplan (air India flight) using my credit card points (when I’m not flying) or it is not allowed?
• Krisflyer to book India-LHR for 68000 KF miles each way in Business class.
• If not, Krisflyer during a sale would be good. Without sale 40k from Chennai to Hanoi return via Singapore. So 80k for 2.

Cons

• Award seat bookings are a hit and miss in krisflyer.
• Krisflyer is not allowing me to have a single initial as a last name, I’m filling XYZ ABC as first name and D as last name. As per their FAQ for booking tickets they have suggested to add the surname as Dd instead of a single letter - b...
• DEL-SFO can be transferred 1:1 to KrisFlyer and booked for 1,33,000 Miles + 5k in taxes (but low availability)
• I think thr greater issue with krisflyer is availability of saver tickets
• KF has one of the worst award seats availability nowadays, I blame the constant glazing by finfluenzas also the fact that KF has too many partners so everyone is using KF to book tickets. Saver inventory is basically impossible nowadays...
