Pros

• Currently Aeroplan is even offering a major bonus on miles purchases.
• yes it's a good experience, you can use aeroplan (90k) or united (88K) to book
• Can I book an award seat for my wife on either krisflyer or aeroplan (air India flight) using my credit card points (when I’m not flying) or it is not allowed?
• You can transfer to Aeroplan and get one way for 42.5K miles and INR 7000.
• Try checking aeroplan. Might have better redemptions for Italy

Cons

• It does that all the time, for whatever route you choose. It drastically increases the taxes on payment page. I believe it’s better to use aeroplan points intra Europe
• Aeroplan - somewhere around 45k points at this moment ... From what I understand, due to the dynamic pricing, the points rate is currently higher than average. Is that right?
• Parent context: Would air india be better or aeroplan? I have heard you get better prices on aeroplan. Reply: You can only send 30K points to Aeroplan, so you need a group B strategy
• On aeroplan Taipei to seoul is 8k + 61usd for Eva economy and 20k + 61usd for business. With 1:2 ratio this doesn't seem lucrative either.
