The owner of Kaima Cosmetics got sad that their store was badly reviewed on trustpilot and begged for good reviews... A creator called them out for being unprofessional and they responded on their DMs by calling her names and making fun of her for being a tiny creator.

All posts pertaining to their "apology" and the situation with Ella have been deleted. This is the kind of behavior I'd expect from high schoolers, not grown adults running a business.

Kaima Cosmetics got a bad review on TrustPilot, and got upset, telling people to give positive reviews to drown out the negative one. Ella commented that this wasn't professional behavior. Kaima Cosmetics responded with DMs insulting her appearance. They also threatened her. ("Think of me when everything starts to go wrong for you").

This brand is embarrassing

never heard of them until ella and now my first impression of them is trash.

Obviously, we all know it was the brand owner who sent those messages and that they are now trying to distance the brand identity from the drama, but even if we took them at their word, it still speaks volumes about how terribly operated the brand is.

Kaima cosmetics got mad that someone gave them a bad review on TrustPilot, made a post crying about it and encouraging their followers to give positive reviews to offset it. Then they made an IG post thanking people for putting their reviews back to 4.4. Ella commented saying that it wasn't professional and it's not something an ethical company would do and that they obviously don't know how to deal with reviews like an adult, etc.

That was the worst apology I've seen. All about how it's made Gemma feel. Ella is just a afterthought in it. I went looking for the big apology and didn't see it at first. Looked to see if there was one on their story, nope.

Sorry, I’ve seen some pathetic apologies, but this one takes the cake. The majority of this is whinging over the brand owner’s feelings with barely an afterthought to Ella. Professionalism at an all time low.
