Intel Z790

Pros

• Otherwise just buy a new MB put it all together right away if all works and it was in fact just a bad MB right on your good to go, if it turns out your cpu isn't cooperating you can either RMA the cpu if you still have warranty or return...
• If you're concerned or have evidence to the contrary then go with my method of buy either a used z690 that has a flashed bios or a the cheapest z790 you can find.
• They had a z790 for 200 bucks. I got it with original parts and box, it looked absolutely fucking new and was maybe used as a test once?
• The Z790 seems to be a good one but again if I upgrade one part Im not sure how it effects the others.
• I bought Z790 in part because I was unsure and also so that I could move from i5 to i9 if I ever needed to.

Cons

• Yeah I just went with a b760, I spent a solid 4 hours trying to find a z790 under $300, the only one I saw didn’t have wifi lol
• Built this pc a few years ago now and my motherboard won’t work with 2 sticks of ram any more and asus wont warranty it.. don’t really care to keep fighting it so i’ve been stuck on if its worth it right now to upgrade my motherboard and...
