the 13900k is still a very solid cpu no point in upgrading IF it's still good.
Last year i noticed my processor was running like only 4 cores out of 24. I checked it in msconfig, and when unchecking that "Number of processors" box to use a default max cores, I rebooted my pc and windows went nuts and I had to reinstall windows completely, and use my old i3-12100F instead since then.
Talking by experience, a friend of mine bought a 14600k two years ago, more or less, I instantly tuned it whit an almost carbon copy of what I did to my 13900k in that same period.
Picked up an Intel Core i9-13900K and already had DDR4 ram that I wanted to get working in a new build so I wouldn't have to shell out for DDR5 with the inflated prices.

Ok, so just managed to fix my pc. The problem was the cpu. Even tho i had it set to intel's specs it still degraded. I used the extended warranty and got a new cpu (14900k), pc back to normal, no restarts.
Because the 13900K runs like crap in e.g. Escape from Tarkov and other games, and quite frankly, I think I updated the BIOS a tad to late and it might have already started degradation at that point.
So, without changing your motherboard, you do have the option of the 12900K, and I think the 13900K and 14900K, but those can have some issues with older BIOS versions.
Some buyers will be hesitant of the 13900K, they were known for degradation issues. Price accordingly if you want it sold fast.
