I only paid just over £100 (which is something like $135) on Ebay for my 11700K If you can get a K for nearer what I paid though though, yes, I run mine with a 4070Ti and it manages 4k/60 fine in everything I throw at it, so I don't feel the need to upgrade soon
With DLSS performance I manage 4k/60/high+ (no RT obviously) no problem with a 4070Ti and 11700K and DDR4
As I run one of those with a 4070Ti at and at 4k it's still usually the GPU which hits limits before the CPU does.

I´d rather try to get a 11700k 11900k if you really think this is your problem, than invest into a complete new platform that costs more, is as dated and eol as yours, or prone to fail (14th gen) and probably held back from ddr4
I had an 12100f with 6600c34 ram and an 4090 and it got 170fps in warzone at 1080p low(or whatever as it was cpu bottlenecked) basically worse perf than an 10700k/11700k/12700k with an 3080ti(240fps) at the same settings.
Upgrading from an 11700k + 4070 tis (backup rig) combo to 11700k + 5080. It’s looking like I may need to wait a bit more and just update the entire system.
