• all in all the i5-8500 should perform better than my current i3-8100. cheap price too so why not
• just bought an i5-8500 as an upgrade to my i3-8100; still not 100% certain if that was the right decision but i think it was considering i bought it for about 49 USD
• Second one is probably a better deal since it's nearly identical to the first one but has an older CPU which is pretty much unnoticeable with the stuff the pc will be used for while saving you 100 bucks

Cons

• objectively speaking it's old as dirt and is clearly the bottleneck in their system. They need a CPU upgrade.
• This new pc is a 2017 optipliex MT Intel i5-8500 3.0GHz with 8GB of ram and INTEGRATED GRAPHICS 😫 and a regular hdd. Its an insane difference lmao
• My current build is an i5-8500, 32 gig of DDR4 ram and a 3070. I'm having trouble multitasking with newer games, where my YouTube videos are chugging along and my CPU is pretty much pegged at 100%.
• It says the required CPU is Intel i58500 - I have Intel i57400
