I ended up scoring a used i5 11500 for 70USD, which let me keep my B560 motherboard. Since the 10400F also didn’t have PCIe 4.0 lanes, the move to 11500 will enable the first M.2 slot on my mobo and allow me to use my Gen 4 SSD at intended speeds. Super happy with my upgrade and bonus on getting (inadvertently) and igpu along the way.
