Pros

I'm using an 11400 (which is either equivalent or slightly worse) and haven't had an issue.
My trusty i5-11400 is still holding up well enough when it comes to less demanding titles like LoL (~110FPS) and indie games (which often care more about single core performance)
you can get an 11400 for €195
10600 and 11400 arent INSANE jumps from the 10400 but i think its just enough of a boost for it to be worth it if you can find a decent price

While the i5-11400 struggles to hit 3600 MHz with four sticks, the 10700K was practically built to do exactly that.
I double checked and ensured that I had purchased an I5-11400 and not an 11400F. The box for the CPU does indicate that it has integrated graphics. I sit the PC down, removed the GPU and plugged the monitor back into the motherhood HDMI...

Today, i installed my new i5 11400, and set the ram speed to 3200, because the previous cpu was limiting to 2666.-

I double checked and ensured that I had purchased an I5-11400 and not an 11400F. The box for the CPU does indicate that it has integrated graphics. I sit the PC down, removed the GPU and plugged the monitor back into the motherhood HDMI and VGA, and neither of them functioned.
