IKEA Kallax

Pros

• I finally got my Kallaxes (Kallaxi?) and finally organized my collection. And my wife finally got her linen closet back. I'm not sure who is happier.
• It's recommended a lot because it's an excellent, affordable shelf with quite a few advantages when it comes to storing games.
• kallax is cheap, games can´t fall off to the side and they catch less dust. you can literally use any shelf you want, but kallax is the one-fits-all solution for a good price.
• I just dump all the components in a bathtub. Setup time takes longer, but there sooo much space in the Kallax now

Cons

• Great use of Kallax cubes. I use them myself. There are a few games that don't fit unfortunately, so I can't house the game collection exclusively in Kallax.
• bass frequencies from the speakers will make the Kallax cabinets under the amp/dac/turntable shake and vibrate, while playing bass-heavy music; - these vibrations (and resonance frequencies which the Kallax may have) will feed into the c...
• Tbf bgcj is like the same 4 jokes recycled over and over again (Patchwork, Kalax, shrink/sleeves, all-in pledge/dont tell the wife).
• The aesthetics are so horrible for a relatively large piece of furniture.
• No, they have too much Kallax. OP would have been golden with just one of the two, based on how many games they have.
