Huckleberry

Pros
- it saved so much boring info dumping back and forth between parents as we handed off, not to mention our own memories. When were they last fed? Changed? Napped? No thinking back to blurry sleep deprived memories, just look at the app
- Parent context: Only to use it as a tracking app, sweet spot was too early for my baby Reply: Sweet spot was perfect for us too!
- I started using it around the 6 week mark to track feeding times and then around the 2 month mark is when we started tracking naps/sleep in it! It’s so accurate on the nap predictions and I love having a visual of his typical wake window...
- I used it religiously for almost 2.5 years and it’s so helpful for seeing trends. It’s also so nice to keep track of when you give medicine so you can know when it’s okay for another dose - I still use it for this with my toddler!
- I still use the app completely (all features now) and baby will be 6m next week. Maybe because I’m a nurse and I’m used to charting. It makes me feel better seeing a visual of what she’s done/eaten that day.
Cons
- On the flip side, Huckleberry has recently started telling me that my 15mo *might* be ready to drop to one nap soon... and we've been on one nap since 11.5mo.
- Today was the first day in a month that I tried just waiting for my 3-month-old to fall asleep for naps, instead of obsessing about her “sweet spot” on Huckleberry and frantically bouncing her to sleep as soon as it came around.
- I always ignored huckleberry and just did my sleep settings based on what baby wanted.
- Downloading huckleberry app was a godsend for tracking feedings, but ultimately became more anxiety inducing than helpful
- i use huckleberry to track my little ones sleep and he just turned 4mo. huckleberry keeps insisting he drops to 3-4 daytime naps but how do i even do that?

I’m at that point where I’ve downloaded and deleted Huckleberry app 3 times in hopes it will solve all my problems.
