Cons
- I bought it in 2020, so it's a v1... I'm surprise that the retailer didn't contact me about this. I'm gonna change it, I prefer to pay 100€ and not destroy my computer (with a new GPU !!)
- Yet another case of “by wattage, you’re completely fine, but I don’t trust that PSU”. I’m not worried about a single thing you mentioned about rails or PSU stress or transient spikes - all of those are fine! But that PSU model is *infamo...
- When I use 0 or 1 connector from the third party cable, it powers on but I get the red CPU error LED on the Gigabyte PSU. Both connectors, I get nothing.
- And if in doubt, I wouldn't keep a potentially explosive power supply, nor would I sell it on Leboncoin.
- The PSU is currently working fine, but given the history of this model and the OPP / protection issues that were widely discussed at the time, I’m honestly not fully comfortable leaving it in a daily-use system.

More worried about the PSU exploding rather than the cable situation unless it's the rev 2.
