Yup that motherboard will work great.
All you are losing is access to CPU overclocking. RAM overclocking works just fine on B760 boards.
B760 GAMING X DDR4 is fine.
So far I'm most keen on the Gigabyte B760 GAMING X DDR4, but if you have any better boards that you know of please let me know!

Yep that's great with 8+1+1 and can power even higher cpu as well. Also, has good vrm heatsinks.
