G7X Mark II

Pros

• If you care more about traveling light and staying stress-free, the G7X Mark II is the smarter choice. It’s not the same quality, but it’s plenty good for street and travel shots.
• pros: versatile zoom lens, lightweight, able to be used for video and photo, less likely to be a target of pickpocketing

Cons

• At the end of the day it's almost a 10 year old camera now and like....personally not worth it imo.
• My first street photography cam was a G7X mark II years ago and it's a good camera don't get me wrong, but for 700 you can get newer compacts with better features like a Sony ZV1 mark 1 or 2 imo.
• I mean $700 is cheap for G7X Mark II. It tends to be more like $1000 due to the Tik Tok hype. But personally I feel $700 is still too much for a digital compact that is now 10 years old.
• I hear that it lags when you try to take consecutive photos, which is a concern.
• Here are the current contenders: Canon M50 Mark II (mirrorless), Sony RX100 III ,Canon 200D II / Rebel SL3, SONY ZV-E10 / Z30, G7X Mark II.
