G4 Doorbell Pro

Pros

• G4 Doorbell Pro is great. I’d choose that over any of the current lineup.
• Just installed mine today got it all in HomeKit and setup webhook for nfc and fingerprint. Super impress with the unlock speed with the poe
• Bucked the trend and saw more value in the older line.
• The rest of the house is just Unifi APs and the G4 Doorbell Pro, hence the cloud key+
• My first (small) Unifi install! Decided to go with a UCG Max, Lite 8 PoE, U7 Pro, G4 Doorbell Pro, and two G5 Turret Ultras in a small network panel. ... other than that I‘m pretty happy so far!

Cons

• They aren't able to do this for the G4 Doorbell Pro with dual cameras that's been out for over three years at this point. If you have a Protect Viewport, you CANNOT stream the package camera and the main camera separately - it will ONLY...
• In terms of cameras and APs etc I’m looking at G5 bullets, G4 Doorbell Pro (unless a g6 comes out 😅) and either U6 or U7 pro.
• Let's hope the intercom is a bit more weatherproof than the G4 Doorbell Pro
• Due to a bit of a fuck up on my part while mounting my G4 Doorbell Pro, I managed to break the tab on the metal mounting plate. Doesn't seem to be available as a separate part on the website
